our dilemma: we are here
soul deposits on parade
running up her crosier
tiny spines in unison curve
so that: we may leave
a scurrying rainfall
upon brief window
depicting altar-cation
a flood will surely draw

your voice has a strident and affected timbre

can’t get enough of your tonsure style

sharp cheddar, sharp teeth
small breathers craving life
moist tongue, hot date
rise to the surface of wet soil for a drink
soft cracks, soft paws
her body swarmed over small hands
our raving beauty

may this time sharing our space strengthen our family,
let it be fruitful for us spiritually,
bringing us ever closer to our sister
who art in heaven.
